Here’s hoping that everyone’s holidays, budgets, and meetings are under better control than mine.  Our next library district meeting is scheduled for January 13th at Laura’s Library in Austin.  
 
I don’t actually have the minutes from the last meeting, but I know that someone actually took them, so could that person send me a copy?
 
According to Mary Jo and Carolyn Manning’s notes, here is the master plan.   I’m assuming unless I hear otherwise that someone from your organization will make the following presentations!   
 
 
Lake Travis – Secretary
Lake Travis – Grant writing
Wimberley, Dripping Springs – Update on collection of sales tax using a vendor
Bulverde – Sales tax reports
Wells Branch?? and Lake Travis – Update on elections 
?? All ? – continuing discussion on ebooks.
 
I notice that we are to talk about elections, but if anyone plans to change from a May to a November election because of the changes in the state law, it must be done by Dec. 31st.  Districts can change their election cycle at any time, but there is a one time window to extend the Trustees terms for 6 months, rather than have a May and then a November election.
