New Customer Skills for Library Staff Online Class

 

Do you have the necessary customer skills it takes to engage in
successful interactions with your patrons? In January, Amigos is
offering a new course, Customer Skills for Library Staff - Techniques
that Yield Results. The course is entirely online and meets on January
12, 19 and 26, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST each day.

New, Revised EAD2HTML: Transforming your Finding Aids with XSL

 

Are you familiar with EAD? Take your skills to the next level with
EAD2HTML. Learn to build and revise XSL stylesheets with our EAD2HTML
workshop. This class has been updated to teach you how to create
stylesheets for schema-aware EAD instances and output to XHTML.

 

This class is scheduled for January 25 - 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Preservation Site and Collection Surveys - Know & Go Session for January

 

If January's Know & Go session, Preservation Site and Collection
Surveys, will be held on January 24 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CST. Presented
by Gina Minks, Imaging & Preservation Service Manager at Amigos, the
session will cover site and collection surveys, the differences of the
two, as well as benefits of each. Additionally, grant funding for a
survey will also be covered. Registration and complete details are
